Laser coatings

For highly reflective mirrors, on the other hand, only dielectric coatings are used. These coatings transmit the non-reflected part and can thus achieve very low absorption values. These coating systems are optimized for one wavelength or one laser and thus achieve reflection values of up to 99.9%.

CO2 laser coatings

The coatings for CO2 lasers are designed and manufactured for the highest demands in the industrial environment.

Total reflector at 10.6 µm

This coating is designed for high power applications and external optics for laser cutting or laser marking.

R > 99.9 % at 10.6 µm and AOI 45° (s-pole)

R > 99.7 % at 10.6 µm and AOI 45° (p-pole)

R > 45.0 % at 0.632 µm and AOI 45° (r-pole)

Total Reflector at 10.6 µm and 632 nm

This coating is designed for high power applications where an additional high reflection is needed for a pilot laser due to multiple reflections.

R > 99.8 % at 10.6 µm and AOI 45° (s-pole)

R > 99.6 % at 10.6 µm and AOI 45° (p-pole)

R > 75.0 % at 0.632 µm and AOI 45° (r-pole)

Total Reflector Cavity at 10.6 µm 

This coating is designed for high power CO2 laser cavities. It is particularly stable against the high UV radiation in the cavity and has low absorption.

R > 99.8 % at 10.6 µm and AOI 0°.

YAG laser coatings

This coating is based on a gold layer whose reflection is increased by dielectric multilayers.

R > 99.6 % at 1.064 µm and AOI 45° (s-pole)

R > 99.4 % at 1.064 µm and AOI 45° (p-pole)

All dielectric

This coating is designed for high power applications and consists of a dilelectric multilayer.

R > 99.9 % at 1.064 µm and AOI 45° (s-pole).

R > 99.8 % at 1.064 µm and AOI 45° (p-pole)
