Copper Mirrors - CO2 and IR mirrors

Copper mirror for laser cutting, laser welding and IR applications are produced of OFHC (Oxygen-Free High Conductivity) Copper, also referred to as Oxygen-free Copper (OFC). It’s an electrolytically refined Copper of high purity with a level of oxygen as low as 0.001 % or below. It is more ductile and has a higher thermal and electrical conductivity.

Our copper CO2 laser mirrors are optimized for high power applications and can handle up to several kilowatts of laser power. They may be cooled easily by passive or internal cooling.

Our mirrors are coated for maximum reflectivity. Pleigers’s manufacturing capability covers optics for CO2-lasers and optical instruments.

Copper mirrors are available plano, spherical, aspherical, toroidal, and with internal cooling.

Coating options are: protected gold or silver, high power CO2 or YAG laser.
